Tragedy
Today I have found out that the large ornate mirror that was the centerpiece of the lobby has been sold to a removals company for $200. This is tragic! What logic could be behind it I have no idea. There is no way to replace such a grand item in that lobby, No one would go to the trouble these days. I hear that the old piano is to go too. This of course is in real bad shape and I can come closer to understanding it's removal but overall I am am just made sad by it all. I of course dreamed the lobby would be restored. This is not what this great old building deserves after waiting dormant all these years.
